Another reason to move to Vermont

I'm excited about the five game Boston/New York series this weekend, even though the Sox are currently losing the first game. But I really wish I didn't have to watch it on the Yankees YES Network. Hearing their promo with the catchphrase of "Pride, Power, Pinstripes" drives me up the WALL!!

I agree. What a good life it would be to be able to catch the Sox on their home turf. I miss those days of living close to Boston. I hear that now though, you cannot even find a ticket for less than $100. Yikes! We have the Rockies here but they are just so so. You can grab decent seats from the grocery store for $6. Good luck in your attempt to get to the Green Mountains.

The problem is they sell out so early in the season that you have to buy from scalpers. I think Christy came to a game with me and my family once, and it was pretty easy to pick up four tickets before the game. Probably '88 or '89, I wonder if Clemons and Boggs were still there.

My ex-sister in-law won tickets as part of a bus group that went down from Vermont in 2004. She took my nephew. It turned out to be the crazy Yankees game that went into extra innings when Tek hit A-Rod in the face. And she's a Yankee's fan, yuck.
